I am from the north west of England, from a town called Preston, which is near Manchester.
At the age of 22, after I completed my studies, I moved to Spain. I lived there for 14 years, got married and had two children.
I worked in Marine Insurance and international logistics, and my job took me to Saudi Arabia and then to Dubai, where I stayed for 10 years.
In 2011 I was asked to train a group of people who were studying for an international insurance diploma, and at that point I realised that I really enjoyed teaching. So I retrained to be an English teacher, through the University of Cambridge, and in 2013 I moved back to Spain.
I love teaching languages and I also love learning them. I have studied Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, and now I'm learning Albanian!
