Past Perfect Continuous: i) Paul had been living overseas for 13 years when he decided to move back home. ii) She hadn't been feeling well for a couple of weeks before the doctor gave her medication. iii) Dean felt sick on Sunday because he had been drinking beer all day on Saturday. Tim was confident for his exam because he had been studying a lot.

Description

This unit explores the idea of environmental activism and advocacy. It teaches learners lots of associated vocabulary and the uses the case study of the musician Pete Seeger and his organisation Clearwater as it battles against business that was causing huge pollution in the Hudson River area.
