Grammar

Past Perfect: i) I had a headache on Saturday because I had drunk wine on Friday night. ii) My wife was angry last week because I had forgotten her birthday. iii) I arrived late for work because I had missed the bus.

Description

In this unit learners will study vocabulary in the context of over-the-counter medicine. They will listen to a conversation between two friends talking pharmacy services and waiting times at the GP. At the end of the lesson learners will also be able to understand and use the past perfect tense.
