Future Perfect: i) I ate lunch at 3pm and won’t eat until 10pm. By 9pm, I won’t have eaten for 6 hours. ii) I woke up at 7am, so by 9pm I will have been awake for 14 hours. iii) I put my shirt on at 8am, so by 9pm I will have worn it for 13 hours. iv) I moved to my apartment in 2014. In 2024 I will have lived there for 10 years.

Description

This unit explores the history of medicine and the discovery of vaccines. It teaches learners lots of associated vocabulary and uses the case study of Edward Jenner who discovered the smallpox vaccine. By the end of the lesson learners will also be able to use and understand the future perfect tense.
