Modals in the Past: i) If the ground outside is wet, we could say "It must have rained" ii) If you can smell food in a kitchen, "You must have cooked something" iii) Mark crashed his car. "He should have driven more carefully". iv) Greg failed his exam. "He should have studied more".

Description

This unit gives learners the opportunity to read and discuss different types of accommodation. They will also listen to a conversation between two friends talking about a holiday in Italy. By the end of the lesson learners will also be able to use and understand modal verbs when talking about the past.
