Grammar

Prices: i) £1.99 = One pound ninety-nine ii) $3.50 = Three dollars fifty iii) £2.27 = Two pounds and twenty-seven pence (In the UK, we sometimes shorten pence to p) iv) $4.45 = Four dollars and forty-five cents

Description

This class has two major functions. Firstly, it will introduce some slightly more complex food and drink vocabulary. And, secondly, it helps learners with using numbers in the form of prices. Learners will be able to say things like the bottle of wine is eight pounds ninety-nine.
