Linking Devices: i) The weather was terrible. Consequently, we didn’t go to the beach.. ii) We raised our prices significantly. iii) As a result, we didn’t sell as many products. iv) I was hungry, so I made a sandwich. v) We played badly, therefore we lost. We lost because we played badly.

Description

When surveys are undertaken to find the happiest countries in the world, the winners are regularly those in Scandinavia that boast greater equality than other countries (The US and UK for example). This unit will teach vocabulary on equality and will ask learners to debate its role in happiness.
