 My name is Jutta and I am a native German speaker, born and raised in Düsseldorf.  I have always been passionate about two things in my life: medicine and languages.  For that reason I first became a pediatric ICU nurse and worked in a hospital in Germany.  Then my other passion surfaced and I went back to college to study German and Romance languages.  After that I got degree in Naturopathic Medicine and taught preparation classes for the naturopathic exam.

In the early 90ies I moved to the United States and lived in California for 25 years.  As many of you might know, degrees from other countries are not easily accepted in the U.S., so I went back to college and graduated with a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine.  I worked as an acupuncturist and practitioner of naturopathic and functional medicine for many years in my own practice.  I had a wide variety of patients of all ages come through my door and my goal had always been to teach them about health and wellbeing and share my knowledge so that my patients could take control of their own health.   These one-on-one teaching sessions combined with the acupuncture gave me the greatest pleasure.

Then I decided to do something new and I moved to Mexico and consulted from there remotely with my patients.  In 2023 my dog Klaus and I moved back to Europe and now live in a very small mountain village in the south of Spain enjoying every day to the fullest.

Over the past 30 years I have lived in four different countries and realized the importance of being able to communicate in the country's native language.  I put a lot of time and effort into learning those languages fluently and tried in the process many different teaching / learning approaches.  Being a native German speaker, I would love to bring the joy and excitement of learning a new language that I experienced to those who choose to learn German.
